International travelers often connect via Jakarta’s Soekarno-Hatta (CGK) then transfer by train, shuttle or car.
Getting around Bandung
Central Bandung is reasonably walkable, especially Braga and the museum district, but the city is hilly and traffic can be heavy. Public minibuses (angkot) and city buses run routes, while ride-hailing apps, taxis and motorbike taxis are fast and affordable. Renting a car or hiring a driver is useful for day trips to surrounding volcanoes and tea plantations.
